11:09 am	it wasnt his stop i guess So i was on the orange line yesterday, heading downtown to get to work. I was readjusting how i was sitting, when a lady two seats over leans over to me and says, "I don't know if you know, but there's a bird under your seat." Needless to say i was a little confused, but I hopped off my seat, carefully, and looked around under it. Sure enough, there's a little bird hiding in the corner under my chair. I didn't know if it was hurt, or just really lost and scared, so i tried to coax it out so i could let it off the train. but the only foodstuffs i had was a granola bar. Turns out little birds on trains dont like granola. So i tried to pick it up, but it batted me with its wing. So I guess it wasn't ready to get off at state and lake. I hope the lil bird made it off on its stop, I didn't see it on the way home, so I figure it did. Current Mood: pensive (Comment on this)

1:51 pm	Its been awhile, here's my update! Ok, so I'm a little sore, but who isn't after the first weekend at Bristol? It was a good weekend, nothing went wrong, the crowd seemed to like it. It was pretty warm, but we've had worse, so all in all it was pretty cool. I'm still job searching, I forget how hard it is to find work when you can't do weekends! oh well, i'll find something! and lets see, I've spent most of my 'free time' making garb and props for faire, and I'm nearly done! yeah yeah, I didn't finish before season started, I'll get it all done by this weekend. 8:38 pm	For any of you who wondered where I've gone to... Well ok, so its not like I was updating this thing daily anyway, but yeah, I've noticably been absent from the computer at my usual times. Read: middle of the night. There is a really good reason for this. Namely I've gotten a new job! Its so much nicer then working at Cosi, I work for a catering company now, and they basically were creating the position as they hired me. I'm their floor supervisor, or front of house manager, or quality control inspector, or whatever they finally name the job. But in short I help coordinate with all the cooks and the people that build orders to make sure everything coming into and going out of the kitchen is perfect. I get to track inventory, incoming shippments, and make sure the employees (soon to be refereed to as my employees!) aren't slacking off! Its a good time, and they started me at $11 an hour! and are considering putting me on salery within a month. if I don't get the salery, I get $12 an hour! Its bitchen! of course the downside being that I start work every day at five am! I had almost forgotten that there was a five am... but now I have to wake up at three thirty or so (when I used to go to sleep) so I can get there on time... Needless to say I'm not up late at night anymore! Oh well... In other news its almost time for vacation! So I'll be even less reachable for about a week. but oh well, my journal can take it! 12:10 am	Waffles! Tasty waffles! Ok, so news so far... I had my job interview on thursday. I think it went well, it was very fast. I was interviewing with one of the chefs there and they were short people so he had to talk quickly, but he seemed to like me. Then today while i was stuck at cosi I got a voicemail from him telling me that the General Manager wants to meet me to discuss other positions, maybe not the Assistant Pastry Chef one, but other Leadership Positions. I like the sound of that! So keep your fingers crossed for me! It may strain a lil, cause I probably wont hear from him till monday, but I can use the luck! Lets see... I dont have any other huge news at the moment that I can think of. Course I'm not really thinking, so thats no surprise... Oh, and everyone else has a monster thing, so it must be the cool thing to do, so BEHOLD! My Egg thing! (I hope it makes good omletts!) PS: I just remembered, I have a new culinary experiment sitting on my kitchen table... I got some fruit things from a mexican foodmart, I thought they were like pricklypear fruits, but upon trying to eat one Im not sure... So I pulped the ones I had left, added sugar, pineapple juice, some other stuff, and I tried to make it into jam... It may be solid and ready in the morning... But what does ready really mean? So vote now! Will it be Jam? Will it be solid? A liquid? Growing? Exploded? Edible? Delicious? Or soon to be outlawed by the Geneva Convention??? Cast your votes people! 12:04 am	Why not! I haven't updated in forever! wow... so its been forever since i've updated this... lets see, where to begin? well. work is still work, and its still lousy. I'm doing what I can to make myself look better while thrashing my coworkers productivity. I'm a good little weasle. I spend most of the week there, and the rest of the time at home, at which i'm usually napping, eating, cooking, snuggling my kitty, or playing City of Villians. Sometimes i multitask! Though I find it harder and harder to play the game while i sleep! oh well, i'll work on it! I'm not sure what else to write. I always have ideas for updates, but then don't put them on here before i forget. so instead i'll put on a big cut full of my latest meme results! enjoy! 10:28 pm	New and the like! Alright, i'm getting to updating this thing more often then usual! I know, I know, as if that's hard to do! Anyway. todays news: Jamie and I got ourselves a car! We got a used kia spectra. its red, it has less milage then my last car, and it drives pretty smoothly. So yay for new cars! now if i can just find an extra few thousand dollars lying around to pay it off! ah well. In other news, no one seems to have gotten far on my riddle from last time. 1:58 pm	An update and stuff! of things! from that place! Ok... so here's for updating and stuff! woo! soo... contrary to popular belief, I can do LJ cuts, and this post will have one. Cause i'm putting in pictures. I think. well I don't have a ton of stuff to put here I guess. we had a good time at the halloween parties we were at yesterday, though construction on the way home took an extra hour and a half to get back! that was crappy! otherwise all is well. I'm glad both our costumes were well recieved, and I had loved seeing all the creativitiy and work put into so many other costumes to! In other news we gave george a bath recently. he's our pet hedgehog by the way. it was his first bath, and as an indoor hedgehog it was the first time he's seen water fall on him ever i think. he sooo hated it. so i'll be posting pictures of it on here to show how he looks like a cross between a wet rat and a cactus. he's cute when he's mad. oh, and before I go, I have a puzzle for anyone who wants to try to solve it! 9:40 am	Stuff and things that I should have updated by now Ok, I'm being lazy with this journal. But eventually I'll get it into a regular kinda update thing. anyway, lets see whats going on... I had a great weekend at stronghold last weekend, did better then the year before with my booth. Even with all the rain on sunday. There is nothing sadder in my opinion then a wet stuffed animal. :( But that aside I had a great time, and also sold enough that I had to completely overhaul my website so it was correct again. 7:45 am	ok, so last night sucked. for anyone who hasn't read it yet in jamie's journal, last night sucked alot. we were on our way to the rehersal dinner for her friend's wedding, and travelling through a part of town we aren't familiar with. The traffic signle was far from clear, and we accidentally went through the intersection and got plowed into by another car. Thankfully everyone involved is ok, but the car is fucked up, and is headed to a body shop to have an insurance guy look at it. Hopefully they won't declare it totaled, cause I hate looking for new cars, and i have ZERO budget. If they do I pray they give me enough money back on it to buy something... Oh well. we're all shaken up, and jamie is bruised, but otherwise we're ok. Just not how we intended to spend the night! 10:52 pm	Stronghold-ness and stuff Ok, so I will be doing stronghold as a merchant, though since none of my calls were returned untill they had already overbooked I will apparently have a space somewhere near the front parking lot, where patrons get tickets. So everyone keep your fingers crossed that when i arrive on friday to set up they found a better spot for me. otherwise i'll be hawking my wares in a crappy place. :( Of course on the plus side I got the space cause I told her I'd been trying for ages to get ahold of them, since I enjoyed it last year, and that I have been making tons and tons of stock. Which is true, I have a small army of poofs being created right now! not to mention all the little stuffed animals i'm making, and the ones that jamie is making to help me out! the house looks like a fabric store threw up! and it'll be that way till Stronghold! 4:21 pm	Stuff and things and more stuff! So to whoever actually reads this, cause I dont know how many of you have found my lj yet. I figure I should update. since I used to be bad at doing so, but i'm trying to be better. I'm sorry that faire has ended, Bristol was very awsome, and I already can't wait for next year, I've got tons of ideas that i'll be working on in the off season. i'm like that. At the same time, I enjoyed the celebration of Randall Anderson Day. It involved pineapple pancakes. Though I had to replace the relaxation part with some job hunting, and I don't read the New York Times, so I settled for some light shopping to get ready for the Stronghold Faire. For those of you who don't know, which is probably many, while I'm a mild mannered fight cast member by day, I moonlight as a boothie at little faires. I make stuffed animals and miniature renny garb for them. if you don't believe me, check it out yourself at my websiteness. I finally updated it, from like ten months ago. Yay Stuff!!! ok, I made a new journal, so I can keep in touch with all the nice folks up here who probably have no idea that I had a journal, one that I haven't posted to in about a year, seriously. But I'll be better with this one. Tonight I won't post much, just create the journal, and put in some friends and all. And a test result or two. Most of you should be able to figure out who I am by the stuff in my journal, but if you don't, then ask! Otherwise you'll feel silly later.
